Overview
Bioscope is an AI-driven health intelligence platform that brings together whole-genome sequencing, microbiome data, EMR, and advanced analytics into a unified clinical system. As Design Lead, I oversee both product and marketing design, shaping how a highly technical platform communicates with clarity and credibility.


Challenge
Bioscope sits at the intersection of genomics, AI, and regulated healthcare, a domain where complexity is unavoidable and trust is non-negotiable. The core design challenge was building a clinical platform from scratch that could unify disparate biological data sources - whole-genome sequencing, microbiome analysis, EMR, wearables, lab results - into something a clinician could actually act on.
Without rigorous information architecture and explainable AI behavior, the platform risked becoming another data dump dressed up as intelligence.
Approach
As Design Lead, I owned both the product and brand systems, keeping them in deliberate alignment as the platform evolved.
The centerpiece of the product work was the Synoptic Health View, a from-scratch design challenge to pull every biological data source into a single interactive clinical dashboard. The goal wasn't just aggregation, it was context: helping clinicians see meaningful patterns across thousands of signals rather than hunting across disconnected tools. I defined the interaction framework, information hierarchy, and AI behavior patterns that prioritize transparency and traceability, so clinicians can trust what the system surfaces, not just react to it.
On the brand side, I established the visual and marketing system across web, sales, and executive channels, acting as brand guardian to ensure the sophistication of the technology came through in every customer-facing touchpoint.





Result
Bioscope launched to strong market reception, generating significant interest from clinicians, investors, and enterprise partners. The platform's ability to translate genomic and multi-modal health data into clear clinical narratives has become a core part of how the product is positioned and demoed, design doing active work in the sales process.
