Overview
Genesys is a global enterprise customer experience platform. I joined through the acquisition of Interactive Intelligence and stepped into a Creative Director role leading a team of 10 across product, marketing, and brand. My focus was ushering an active rebrand through to completion and extending it consistently across a global organization.


Challenge
Genesys was mid-rebrand when I came on board, with the added complexity of integrating creative work across two merged organizations. The challenge was taking ownership of an unfinished brand process, building a cohesive team from existing and new talent, and delivering consistent creative execution across product, marketing, and events at enterprise scale.
Approach
I inherited and built a team of 10, establishing the creative direction and standards needed to carry the rebrand across the finish line. From there I extended the brand system across channels it hadn't fully reached - product interfaces, sales materials, and large-scale event experiences. Working across distributed teams and functions, I set the visual and tonal standards that gave the organization a consistent, scalable foundation to grow from.




Result
The rebrand landed across product, marketing, and events with consistency and clarity. The creative team was stronger and more aligned coming out of the process, with clearer standards that continued to support the organization's growth after the integration was complete.
